Do I need a consultation before booking?
Consultations are required for all new extension, hair replacement, and alopecia clients. This allows us to discuss your hair, goals, lifestyle, and the best options for you.

Can I book a hair appointment without a consultation?
Established clients may book eligible services directly. New clients seeking extensions, hair replacement, or alopecia services must complete a consultation first.
HAIR, EXTENSIONS & ALOPECIA
Is hair included with my service?
Hair inclusion varies by service. Your service description will clearly state whether hair is included or must be purchased separately. For customized extension and hair replacement services, hair selections are confirmed during your consultation.
How much hair will I need?
The amount of hair needed depends on your natural density, desired length, fullness, and the service selected. Recommendations are personalized to ensure your finished look is balanced and natural.
Can I bring my own hair?
For select services, yes. Hair must meet the requirements for your chosen service. Please confirm before purchasing or bringing hair, as not all brands, textures, or hair types are suitable for every installation.
How do you determine the right texture and density?
Your natural hair, density, texture, lifestyle, and desired result are considered when selecting extension or replacement hair. The goal is a seamless result that looks and moves naturally.
Do you work with clients experiencing alopecia or hair loss?
Yes. Hair loss and alopecia services are a specialty of Hair Restoration & Replacement with Miss Kisha. Services may include customized alopecia styling, extensions when appropriate, non-surgical hair replacement, custom wig solutions, and healthy-hair support based on your individual needs.
Can I book an alopecia style without a consultation?
A consultation is required for new clients seeking customized alopecia or hair replacement services. This allows us to evaluate your needs privately and determine which options are appropriate before scheduling your service.
PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
How should I arrive for my appointment?
Please review the preparation instructions included with your booked service. Some services require clean, dry, detangled hair, while others include shampoo and conditioning. Following your service-specific instructions helps us stay on schedule and achieve the best result.
Should I shampoo my hair before my appointment?
Only when your service instructions request it. Many services include professional cleansing and conditioning as part of your experience.
Can I come with braids, extensions, or another style that needs to be removed?
Please arrive with previous extensions, braids, adhesive, or other installations removed unless removal is included in your scheduled service. Additional removal or detangling may require extra time and fees.
What if my hair is tangled or matted?
Please disclose excessive tangling or matting before your appointment. Additional detangling may require added time, an additional fee, or rescheduling if enough time was not reserved.
Can I bring inspiration photos?
Absolutely. Inspiration photos are encouraged and help communicate your desired look. Your final result will be customized to your hair, density, condition, and what can realistically be achieved while maintaining healthy hair.
YOUR SALON EXPERIENCE
Can I bring children or additional guests?
To maintain a comfortable and focused environment, appointments are reserved for the scheduled guest only. Please make childcare arrangements prior to your visit.
What if I am running late?
Please notify me as soon as possible if you are running behind. Late arrivals may require the service to be adjusted or rescheduled if there is not enough time to complete it without affecting the next guest.
What is the salon atmosphere like?
Expect a private, professional, and welcoming experience where you can relax and be yourself. Luxury here means personalized attention, quality service, and feeling comfortable—not a stuffy or intimidating environment.
Is my appointment private?
Privacy and discretion are especially important for hair loss and alopecia guests. Your experience is handled with care, professionalism, and respect.
May I eat during my appointment?
For cleanliness and safety, meals are not permitted in the service area. You are welcome to bring a closed beverage.
Can I work during my appointment?
Absolutely. Longer appointments are a great time to relax, read, work quietly, or simply enjoy some downtime.
EXTENSIONS & HAIR
Is hair included with my extension service?
Hair inclusion varies by service. Services that include extension hair will be clearly identified when booking. If hair is not included, the required type, texture, length, and amount will be discussed during your consultation.
Can I bring my own extension hair?
For select services, client-provided hair may be accepted with prior approval. Hair must meet the quality and specifications discussed during your consultation. Please do not purchase hair before your consultation unless instructed to do so.
How much hair will I need?
The amount of hair needed depends on your natural hair density, desired length, fullness, texture, and installation method. Your exact hair requirements will be determined during your consultation.
What extension methods do you offer?
Extension services include customized keratin fusion/K-tip extensions, sew-in extensions, tape-in extensions, and select hair-enhancement methods. Recommendations are based on the health and density of your natural hair, lifestyle, and desired result.
Can you add extensions if my hair is thin or I am experiencing hair loss?
Possibly. Every client is different. Hair and scalp health, density, and the location and extent of hair loss must be evaluated first. When traditional extensions are not appropriate, we can discuss alternative hair replacement or alopecia styling options.
Will my extensions look natural?
Natural-looking results are a priority. Placement, density, texture, color, and movement are customized so your finished style complements your natural hair rather than simply adding more hair.
Can I choose any length or density I want?
Your desired look is important, but the health of your natural hair comes first. I will recommend a length, weight, and density that your hair can safely support while working toward the look you want.
Do you install frontals and closures?
No. Frontal are not currently offered for clients at this time. Depending on your needs, closure-based options, extensions, custom hair replacement, or other alopecia styling solutions may be recommended.
